10 Minute Job
OK- Open the boot and look inside behind the rear light stack you need to access.
You'll see a panel which is really easy to pop open
Once you've done this you'll see the back of the light stack which is secured by 2 nice fat handscrews which you can twist open using your thumb and forefinger.
NB- A note of caution here, put your other hand underneathe to catch these as your removing them as they can drop into the chassis and its a hell of a job getting them back out without a telescopic magnet.
Next disconnect the plug that is attached to the back of the light stack.
OK now you can prize the light stack away from the car and open the back to change the lightbulbs.
Once you've changed the bulbs reverse the process.
Good luck!

To change an interior light bulb in a Vauxhall Astra, first ensure the vehicle is turned off. Gently pry the light cover off using a flathead screwdriver or your fingers, depending on the design. Remove the old bulb by twisting it counterclockwise, then insert the new bulb by twisting it clockwise until secure. Finally, replace the light cover, ensuring it clicks back into place.
Remove the lense from the car then you will find a holder with all the bulbs in. change which ever bulb
There is a service flap in the rear quarter panel, inside the boot.Undo the two plastic nuts, release the wiring loom plug and then you can get to the rear lamp cluster.Replace bulbs as required by twisting out the holder.
