I removed the oil dipstick, then the huge plastic engine cover, put the dipstick back in, then located the thermostat housing on the front side of the engine (as you sit in car) just behind and to the left of the A/C compressor (again, as you sit in car). I then made sure all coolant was drained and then removed the hose by loosening the hose clamp then gently rotating the hose as I pulled on it. Then removed the ( I think 2 or 4 ) small bolts holding the thermostat housing on and pulled off the housing. There is an o-ring there which may need replacing and the parts place should give a new one with new thermostat. The thermostat only goes in one way so it is pretty easy. Installation of the rest is the reversal of removal. Good luck.
