It is not included with the CS6000i, but you can add the Brother SA161 - Adjustable Zipper Foot to your oder. It is designed to work with the CS6000i.
A sewing machine attachment called a zipper foot is made with a longer finger on one side, instead of the usual fabric guide presser foot that has two fingers to hold down the fabric. The single finger is adjustable so you can sew down one side of the zipper, and then move the finger over to sew on the other side of the zipper.
Unzipping a zipper is a physical change because it only involves a change in the physical state or appearance of the zipper, without altering its chemical composition.
The best advice I can give you is write a letter to a zipper manufacturer such as YKK, JNZipper, or Supreme Zipper Industry
Zipping up a zipper is a Physical change , Because Just because you are unzipping it and zipping it back up it is still a zipper and it is not changing the look or the form of how it is!.
Unzipping a zipper is considered a physical change because it alters the arrangement of the zipper components without changing their chemical composition. The materials remain the same; they simply move from a connected state to a separated state. This process is reversible, as the zipper can be zipped back up, restoring its original configuration. Thus, it is a temporary change in form rather than a change in substance.
To do this, you must not only take off your regular presser foot, but take of the part directly above it. You must loosen the presser foot screw, and take everything off below it. Then, look for a part on the zipper foot that hooks around a little. Put that where the original presser foot and the "presser foot holder" was. Then tighten the screw. 1=Loosen the presser foot screw. 2=Remove the presser foot and the part that the presser foot snaps in and out of. 3=Find the hook-like part, the same as on the presser foot holder, and put it where the other one originally was. 4=Tighten the presser foot screw. 5=Put the zipper foot down. It should be a little bit higher than touching the sewing machine. 6=To move the zipper foot from left or right, loosen the screw in the back of the presser foot, and slide the foot from side to side! Then tighten the screw again!
