It's easy, on the mark 2 models, the rectangular panel which holds the hazard switch (with also the door lock button to the left and the heated rear window switch on the right)
This panel will lever out of the facia with a small screwdriver or something similar, just lever from each end a little at a time until the panel comes out.
Then the switch can be unclipped out and with the wiring connector also unplugged the switch will come out of the panel towards you.
Switches are quite easy to get from Renault dealers or even cheaper on the 'bay'
Hope this helps!
To change the hazard switch on a Renault Clio, first, disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. Then, carefully remove the dashboard panel or trim surrounding the switch using a trim removal tool to avoid damage. Once exposed, unplug the old hazard switch from its connector and replace it with the new one, ensuring a secure fit. Finally, reassemble the dashboard and reconnect the battery to test the new switch.
If the hazard lights on your Renault Clio won't turn off, it could be due to a faulty switch or a malfunction in the electrical system. Check to ensure that the hazard light switch isn't stuck or damaged. Additionally, there may be an issue with the relay or fuses related to the hazard light system. If the problem persists, it's advisable to consult a mechanic for a thorough diagnosis.
