I have pictures of a basket I won recently at a fundraiser that claimed it was a Longerberger basket. I closely looked at the basket, and have reason to believe that it ISN'T a Longerberger Basket. There are no marks on this basket, and someone black magic marked out something on the bottom. I'm afraid they blacked out the Made is Taiwan stamp.
To determine the value of a retired Longaberger basket, start by researching recent sales on platforms like eBay or collector websites to see what similar baskets are selling for. Check Longaberger collector groups on social media for insights and price trends. Additionally, consider the basket's condition, rarity, and any unique features, as these factors significantly influence its value. Consulting a professional appraiser who specializes in collectibles may also provide a more accurate valuation.
