To make a screen name, go to www.aim.com. then click get a new screen name. You can only have AOL if you are 18 years old, so if it says that this service is not available at the time and you are under 18, that could be the reason.
The answer above is not actually true. I got my AOL email in 2004 and it didn't ask me or tell me anything like that. I was at least 6 years old. I was good with computers.
You get an AOL disk and when you install it - there will be a question regarding whether you are a current member or a new member. If you already have an account it will ask for your Master Screen name & password. That's all you have to do.
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8925333#8925333 I just had this issue happen to me as well. AOL support advised me to change my AOL password. You can do this after signing on at aol.com. This worked -- iTunes now recognizes my AOL screen name and new password.
Go keyword: Increase screen size Mike
i don't think you can. you might have to make a new account
You probaly can't do what you're trying to. You can go to edit, screen name format and add caps and spaces. Otherwise you have to make a new one. While people transition from your old to your new, you can go to edit, settings and link them though.
You can t you have to make a new aim screen name and email
Go to www.aol.com , when you do click on Aol mail there should be a link to create an account, take it from there. To later get on this account go back to Aol mail sign in and click on the aim logo on the right side of the screen ( the running guy).
You can't. If you want to change your screen name badly, you'll have to make a new account.
To add a user name to your AOL account, log into your AOL account and go to the "Account Security" section. From there, you can select "Manage Account," where you can add or edit user names linked to your account. Follow the prompts to create a new username, and make sure to save your changes. If you encounter any issues, refer to AOL's help resources for assistance.
