Mixing red and yellow will produce orange. Mixing unequal amounts of each primary colour with eventually result in brown.
Not if it has enough pigment in it.
you will need to add brown oxide tint (not the red brown) and also maybe just a hint of blue to tone it down, since blue+orange=brown.
All you do is add orange and brown to yellow. Then you have gold paint.

You can't make metallic gold paint. you can make golden yellow by adding a very little orange and brown to regular yellow.
Orange
I'd say have a good amount of white paint. Then add a little yellow, orange and brown to the white, not vice versa. Have more brown than yellow, and more yellow than orange. That should probably do it, but you can experiment around a little till you have your desired color.
