Pull the latch.
Pull off the vacuum hose. If there is any gas present in the hose, it's faulty.
Not without a specialized scan tool.
To remove the seats in the Mercury Villager you first need to pull the side lever and push the seat forward. Next, pull the release strap. Lift the back of the seat until the seat clears the latch. Pull rearward and remove from the vehicle.
Pull the clips back and lift them off.
Pull the hood release under the dash at the left side.
To change the thermostat on a 2002 Mercury villager, pull the hose away. If the bolts do not come off, wiggle the fitting to expose the thermostat to be able to change it.
With engine running, pull the fuel pump fuse or relay. The engine will eventually stall and leave little fuel pressure in the system.
That depends by what you mean by "fully loaded". It is not rated to pull more than a ton or so.
The same place where you check it, there is a tube that comes up in the right center behind and to the left of the coolant reservoir. It has a small black ball on top. That is your transmission fluid dipstick. It is, unfortunately, not marked in any way. Pull that out and if you need to add fluid put a funnel in that tube and do so.
