If your on Microsoft Word, you have to go to "Insert", go to the very right of it and it will allow you to put in symbols. The e should be there. If you're on a Mac, it's probably a similar process.

"As I was the day I hope."....if u could, put an accent where needed. to put an accent online, simply put an appostrophy after the letter. for example: facil. it means easy, but it needs an accent over the "a". so put "fa'cil" :) the accent makes the difference. like in El or E'l. El would be "the" but E'l is "he" and in si or si'. si means "if" but si' means "yes"
maddymcD - After looking on lots and LOTS of websites, I have finally found a formula for accents that will work on my Mac. How these work - Press the 'Option' key and the letter specific to each type of accent at the same time, and then let go and press the letter (L) that you would like the accent to be over. These are how to do the different types of accents, and they will work on the letters 'n,N,o,O,a,A'. Type of accent, Sample, Formula Acute, Ó ó, Option+E, L(letter that the accent will be over) Circumflex, Ô ô, Option+I, L(letter) Grave, Ò ò, Option+`(symbol to the left of number 1), L (letter) Tilde, Õ õ, Option+N, L (letter) Umlaut, Ö ö, Option+U, L (letter) Example: To input the letter Ó, hold down the Option key, then the E key. Release both keys and then type a capital O. I don't know if these will work on windows or other computers, but for all those people out their that own macs, it is the formula for you! If this helps you, please recommend me. Thanks :) -maddymcD
It depends on what keyboard you are using (different countries have different keyboards - especially when they speak different languages). If you are using a US keyboard, there is no option to type í naturally. In Microsoft products (such as Word, etc.) there is a convention on PCs to use Ctrl + ' , followed by the letter over which you want the accent to form. On Apples, the convention is Apple + e, followed by the letter over which you want the accent to form.If you are using a Spanish keyboard, press the acute accent key and then press the letter over which you want the accent to form.
The word "hypothesis" is accented on the third syllable. To show this, you would place the accent mark over the letter "o" in the second syllable "po" like this: hypóthesis.
Each accented letter has a special key combination to insert directly. For instance, you can insert an o circumflex by pressing ALT and F1 twice followed by typing 0-147. If you are rarely inserting accented letters, you can choose them from a list by going to Create and then Special Character.
Ella es de Mexico.Make sure to put an accent over the e.
