This works well for any fabric other than silk. First place the garment into the freezer for a couple of hours. This allows the Tack to become very hard which now enables you to pick or scrape off the larger chuncks. Careful that you do not tear the fabric. Work quickly as the contact with your warm hands will soften the tack again. After as much as possible has been removed, rub the remaining spot with a rag dipped in oil such as olive or corn or sunflower oil. Yes, this will leave a grease mark, but this in turn can now be removed with any GOOD detergent or a degreaser of which there are loads on the market. (No worries, I have removed LOADS of oil spots from kids clothing using regular oven degreasers). P.S. Also works for Chewing Gum!
No. Sticky tack is not an eraser. it is not made out of gum, off of a gum tree. which sticky tack lacks.

To remove sticky tack from a rolling chair, you can try using a mild solvent like rubbing alcohol or white vinegar. Dab the solvent onto the sticky tack and let it sit for a few minutes to help break down the adhesive. Then, gently scrape off the tack using a plastic scraper or your fingernail. Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
freeze the tack with ice to be able to scrape the most of it off. Mineral oil will remove the rest of it...but watch it, it will stain. Check for colorfastness. Remove the mineral oil with common upholstry cleaner.

It is a low tack sticky back plastic! I think it's some type of plastic, that goes on your back!
Eating sticky Tack should not harm your child. It is not toxic. Just watch the child to make sure he or she is not in any discomfort.
In order to make sticky tack sticky again, You have to completely clean it. You first make sure all the dust and dirt is off the product. Then you wash it with soap and water. After you get all the residue off, dry it with a clean towel. This should make the sticky tack sticky again.
Try to remove as much of the sticky substance as possible by hand if possible. We used a ladder to get to ours (a toy eyeball) and a spatula. Left in the spot was a bit of residue. I was able to remove the remaining stickiness with a white towel and dish soap.
Try cooking oil or peanut butter to help make it removable. You may end up pulling out hairs while scraping it. When you have most of it out, wash and condition your hair. While the conditioner is in, try gently removing the remainder.
