You will first need to move the wipers and all the parts to get to it. Then you can take it off and replace with a new one.
Remove the wiper arms first. Then remove the torx screws that hold the plastic cowl in place.

You will have to remove the wiper arms, then remove the cowl, and then the wiper motor.

It comes through the wiper cowl on the passenger side.It comes through the wiper cowl on the passenger side.
# Disconnect the negative battery cable # Remove both wiper arm and blade assembles # Remove the cowl grille attaching screws and lift the cowl grille slightly # Disconnect the washer nozzle hose and remove the cowl grille assembly # Remove the wiper linkage clip from the motor output arm # Unplug the wiper motor's three ataching screws and remove the motor
You will need to raise up the driver side wiper once the hood is opened.On the freestar the cowl is being held on by pushpins rather than screws on the top cowl cover.On the bottom cowl cover there are screws on the right and left, but the windshield wiper mechanism is also attached to the underside of the lower cowl panel on the drivers side, so you will need to disconnect the wiper hose and electrical connector to completely remove the cowl; leave the wiper assembly attached to the cowl.

It is under the cowl at the base of the windshield. You will have to remove the wiper arms and the cowl cover to access.
