One way to get them clear again that is very inexpensive and easy is to : Remove the headlights (assuming you know how to). Take a really fine grain sandpaper like 800 to maybe 1000 ,and wetsand all of the ugly yellowing til its completely gone. Then get some 3M rubbing Compound (image on link provided) (http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/images/PRODUCT/medium/14342.gif) Use a microfiber towel to buff to a factory shine. [If you do perform this mod you assume all the responsibilty in doing so. ]
the headlight assembly needs to come out in order to replace the bulb.
You will need to take the complete headlight assembly loose or out to get to the bulb to change it.
To replace the headlight bulb: 1. Remove the headlight door. 2. Remove the four screws that hold the headlight bulb in place. 3. Pull the headlight bulb out and unplug the wire harness. Reverse the process to install the new headlight bulb.
You remove grill to remove and replace the headlights.

Lenses are not replaceable on the Malibu, you have to replace the entire taillight assembly
Pull the complete headlight assembly out to get to the bulbs. You first have to pull the front bumper off, along with the wheel well to get to the headlight assembly.
Open the hood, remove the two locks that hold the headlight assembly in place, with the two locks removed you can wiggle the headlight assembly out and gain access to the back side of the assembly to remove and replace the headlight bulb.
There are two clips on the wall that holds the headlights. Push the clips away and pull the headlight housing out.
To replace the headlight on a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo, first, open the hood and locate the back of the headlight assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector by pressing the tab and pulling it off. Remove the retaining ring or clips that hold the headlight in place, then carefully pull out the old headlight bulb. Insert the new bulb without touching the glass, reattach the retaining ring, reconnect the electrical connector, and test the headlight.
more then likely w/ no more info then is provided there is a silver rod on top of the headlight pod you slide to the side then the whole light will come out and you can replace the bulb and reinstall.
When you open the hood look above the headlight for two round plastic caps. Pull these upwards, it releases the light assembly.
