Ok. I have been wondering how to get the same lights to stop flashing for over a year now. I seen this post and read the answer. I immediatly went out and tried it and it re-calibrated the AC so quick I was shocked. All you need to do is start your van. (if you are unsure what knob or lever is which I am looking in the manual for proper terms) Then slide your temp lever all the way to the right (full cold). Then turn the Mode Control to 'panel' (the one that sends air to your face only). Then turn the 'blower switch' to all the way to full. Now go to the leftmost three buttons. Press the top one (rear wiper on constant) and the bottom one (rear wiper washer fluid). Hold these two for a few seconds. Once the lights come on solid then begin to flash you can let go. The AC will now calibrate. You will feel the air blow out of all the different zones at different intervals and see lights come on and go off. Then after a minute or two the top bottn you pressed will be slowly flashing. This means it has been completed (I actually let it run for 5 more minutes just in case something else started blinking). Press the last flashing button and you are done. I then turned off the van and started it back up and now I don't have those infernal blinking lights for the first fifteen minutes of my drives. Thank you to whoever it was who posted the initial answer to this problem.
might need to reset the problem indicator
I know the secret and know its pretty easy , hold down the top and bottom four approximatley four seconds , you will hear the heater system run a diagnostic from cold to hot wait for lights to stop blinking realease bottons if this fails you have a problem within the system ancient Chinese secret pass it on !
Check for loose connection or loose fuse in fuse panel
It's telling you the revolution sensor is not matching the revolutions of the engine. The ECU takes over and cuts current to the AC when this happens and the ac light will start blinking. A turn the AC of then turn it back on and it's not blinking tells you the problem is going to lead to no AC if you don't get it fixed.
Fixing the blinking lightsHere is the way!!! engine must be at operating temp for this to work 1 Set blower to high (A/C Compressor OFF) 2 set mode to panel/vent (throuth the dashboard) 3 open all of the said vents 4 Set temp lever(s) to cold 5 press rear wash and wiper buttons at same time and hold 6 Let it do its thing (to my understanding this is a calibration test of the system, it will go from hot to cold, and throuth all the vents, and all the lights will blink this is normal) 7 at end of this test (took between 3 and 5 min on my van) the wiper button will flash, push it and this is all done.
If an AC light is blinking on a 1991 Toyota Camry it may indicate that a belt is slipping. The AC light may also blink indicating that the system has been overcharged.
To activate the changing filter feature on your AC unit, locate the filter access panel on the unit. Open the panel and remove the old filter. Insert a new filter, making sure it is properly aligned. Close the panel and reset the filter change indicator if applicable.
Once you have charged your a/c in your Dodge Magnum the a/c light should turn off. If it continues to blink or stay lit you will need to take your car into a mechanic and have the light reset electronically.
Most modern AC units do not have bulbs that can be replaced in the control panel. The lights may be LED, which do not require replacement. Check the owner's manual for troubleshooting steps or consider contacting a professional for assistance.
They have no reset. An ac pump has no memory board.
