i found that you hit the mode button (bottom left one) 3x's
time shows on screen
then hold in the lap/reset buttom ( bottom right) about 3 seconds
set shows on the screen and then let go
then the seconds flash
hit st/stop to reset the seconds to zero or
mode button to change to the mins to flashing
hit st/stop to advance the numbers
hit mode to change to hour to flashing
hit st/stop to advance the numbers
