No. Relinquishing your parental rights means you are not the parent of the child any longer, therefore not responsible for its care and/or support.
In general, parental rights are terminated either preparatory to an adoption, or after a trial in which it is determined that the parent is unfit. In any case, termination of parental rights does not, in itself, terminate child support.
You cannot marry in GA without parental consent if you are under 18.
no i can't
I would go to a family lawyer and ask what the laws are for your state about terminating parental rights. Then ask him/her how you should go about terminating your rights and how they can help you.
No
I know in Montana that if there is another party to adopt the child, that the mother has to contact the biological father in several ways even if he is not listed on the BC. Either by newspaper in the law section, or written letter. And if the father does not respond, then it means you have giving up your parental rights, and the child is able to be adopted.
If they have parental permission, yes they can. If they don't have parental permission, no they cannot.
No, you must be 18 or hve parental permission.
Without parental consent you have to be 18.
No. Even with parental consent you couldn't do it. In order to marry in GA a minor must be at least 16 and have parental consent.
Stand regarding what? If you voluntarily terminate your parental rights or they are involuntarily stripped by the court, you no longer have the right to see your child or have any say-so in their lives. However, your child support obligation continues unless the child is being adopted.
