How do you slice in Adobe Illustrator?

You have to use the rulers to make rectangles around your links. then you go to Object, Slice, Make from guides. You also have to use the slice selection tool under the crop area tool on the left side. Then you can combine the slices by clicking on the red numbers you want to combine by holding the shift key. After that you go back to Object, slice, and click combine slices. When you need a link you have to click the red number and go to Slice options under object, slice. there you can put the links address. After that you have to save it for webs and devices under file.
