Get an accountability partner, not some email buddy miles away, but an actual person that'll hold you to what you need to do. Parents/relatives work best.

Write down your commitments in list form and cross things out as you complete them. Make reminders (post-its are good) and put 'em on your fridge... dashboard...

A useful way to stop procrastinating while doing a job is to write yourself a note that is constantly visible that says something like:focusworkstop procrastinatingpay attentionand so on. Whenever you look at the note and you are procrastinating you will feel guilty about it and will consequently stop procrastinating. It's simply a constant reminder
