**Note: The symbol that you are using for restricted is not the restricted symbol or special character. In fact it is the Registered symbol and that symbol or character can be typed:

If using a Microsoft Windows System you will press and hold Alt then press 0174 ®. But if you can't remember this you can always just open up the Character Map Program that is usually found in the Accessories section of the Start Menu or can be searched using your Help on your computer.

If using a Apple Macintosh System you will press and hold Option and then R. Which will then show the ® character. (Note: that you do not press the Shift key otherwise you will insert a ‰ symbol.) But just like the PC Mac's come with a Character Map feature as well, but also has one better called the Keyboard Viewer. And that is a virtual onscreen version that you can see which key is what character by holding down the Option key and/or any of the other Modifier keys (Shift, Ctrl, Option/Alt, and Command/Apple) on the keyboard.

Hope that is less confusing then the original Answer up top.
