b means the flat version of the note, one semi-tone below C. Between notes B and C on any clef there is only one semi-tone, so there is no C flat note. The C flat note is actually B.
Middle C, which is one ledger line below the treble staff, and one ledger line above the bass staff.
Bass clef is also called F clef , because the clef sign starts on 4th line called F note, this note should be played 5notes below the middle C. Treble clef is called G clef, because the clef sign starts on 2nd line called G note. This note should be played 5 notes above the middle C. Simple answer: The bass clef is below the treble clef so the sound is lower.
In the treble clef, the note that is one step above the note A is B, while the note one step below A is G. In musical terms, a step typically refers to a whole or half step, with A to B being a whole step and A to G being a half step.
The highest known pitch is known as descent and is denoted by a small '8' sign above and touching the treble clef (which literally means that it is one octave higher than the same note in Treble clef).
An F note on a staff is located on the first space of the treble clef, just below the first line, which is E. In the bass clef, it is found on the first line of the staff. In both clefs, the note can also be represented with a ledger line; in the treble clef, it appears one ledger line below the staff, while in the bass clef, it can be found one ledger line above the staff.
To write an octave higher, you simply transpose the notes up by eight scale degrees. For example, if you have a C note in the bass clef, you would move it to the C note in the treble clef, which is one octave higher. In terms of notation, if you start with the note C4 (middle C), an octave higher would be C5. This can be represented as: C4 → C5.
Alto clef
It sets the position of the note 'G'. Originally the Treble Clef was a large letter 'G'. The curve of the clef always starts on the second line of the stave from the bottom which then sets this second line as the note 'G'. From this note all others can be determined (eg botton line 'E', middle line 'B', next line up 'D' and top line 'F', Bottom space 'F', second space up 'A', next space up 'C', top space 'E'). Incidentally, the Bass Clef starts from the second line from the top of the stave and was originally a letter 'F' and so it sets this note as 'F', one octave and one note below the 'G' of the Treble Clef.
They both play in treble clef. Alto plays in the key of E flat, and tenor plays in the key of B flat.
actually basses can play on three clefs bass clef, tenor clef, and treble clef, its rare for basses to use to treble but it is used when the notes get higher and higher. so they can play both but mostly bass clef
Everything goes down a line; so the B which normally has the midlle line cutting through it would have the one from bottom line going through it. This is very simple but takes a while to get used to. And of couse everything on the treble clef is octaves higher
A treble clef and bass clef refer to music. A piano, for instance, is played by two hands....right hand plays notes on what is known as a treble clef, while the left hand plays on what is known as a bass clef. Most girls sing on the treble clef, since it can go very high. (Sopranos & Altos) Most guys sing on the bass clef, since it can go very low. (Tenors & Bass) Different kinds of instruments either play on the treble or bass clef.
