check your ecu under the dash ( behind stereo and cubby hole .. shifter cover comes off )
there might be an idle adjuster in the computer if not
take it to a mechanic
Idle speed is set by the PCM and IS NOT ADJUSTABLE.
maybe your sincronizer is going out. that or bad linkage.
To adjust the carburetor on a 1996 KLX 125, first ensure the engine is warm and running. Use the idle speed screw to set the idle RPM to the manufacturer's specification, typically around 1,500 RPM. Then, adjust the air-fuel mixture screw to achieve a smooth idle; turn it in or out until the engine runs best, usually by making small adjustments and listening for changes in RPM. Finally, recheck the idle speed and make any necessary final adjustments.

You could have a bad exhaust valve
YOu need to blead the system .. then it should require no adjusting
You can't. Its computer controlled
It is normal for the RPM to increase a little when put in park or neutral. If the RPM increases by a lot, then you need to adjust your idle speed.
I would say 10w-40 Castrol Magnatec
Adjust your idle.
