I removed both batteries for about an hour and... RESET. There is a small backup battery in the battery compartment next to the main battery.

If you are like me and you want the next picture to be in the same numbering scheme as before resetting, take a picture, then connect camera to your usb and change the name of the picture you just took to the number of the last photo you took before reset. Now unhook usb, take another picture and your numbers will be back on track.
