To repair the driver's side door of your 1999 Corolla, you'll need to remove the interior door panel to access the locking mechanism and handle linkage. Begin by removing any screws and clips holding the panel in place, then carefully pry it off. Once exposed, inspect the mechanism for any broken parts or disconnected rods, and reattach or replace them as necessary. Reassemble the door panel once the repairs are made, ensuring everything is securely fastened.
