The Australian Automotive Industry has a list of vehicles that can handle E5 and E10 fuels. According to this list, all Nissan models prior to 2005 should not use E10 (read: All models post 2004 CAN use E10).

The reason the site gives for these vehicles not being able

to take ethanol-mixed

fuels is that ethanol can promote corrosion in the rubber and some metallic parts, as well as causing a hotter running temperature due to extra oxygen molecules in the ethanol. Given this information I would not recommend using ethanol fuels. I have a 1994 Nissan Navara,

and I do not use them as I do not want to risk the expense of additional repairs/maintenance.

Can you use ethanol enhanced fuel in your Honda Accord?

Honda does not recommend anything more than 10% ethanol blend. All gasoline now is E10, and Honda says E10 is fine as long as it is the same or higher octane as 100% gasoline. I use E10 in my 1991 Accord with zero problems.

Yes, you can use E10 fuel in a CV8 Monaro, as the vehicle's engine is compatible with ethanol-blended fuels. However, it's important to check the owner's manual or consult with a mechanic to ensure that using E10 will not affect the car's performance or warranty. E10 contains up to 10% ethanol, which can offer some benefits in terms of emissions, but may also have implications for fuel system components over time. Always ensure that the fuel quality meets the manufacturer's specifications.
