In most Kia Rio models, the trunk can typically be opened from the outside using the key fob or a button on the trunk itself. Additionally, there is often a switch or lever located inside the car, usually near the driver's seat, that allows you to unlock the trunk without needing to go outside. However, the availability of these features can vary by model year, so it's best to consult the owner's manual for specifics regarding your particular vehicle.

To switch a storm door handle so it opens by pushing the lever down instead of up, first remove the handle from the door by unscrewing it. Then, disassemble the handle mechanism and reverse the orientation of the lever inside. Reassemble the handle, ensuring that all components are properly aligned, and then reattach it to the door. Test the new configuration to ensure that the door opens correctly by pushing the lever down.

What type of car? Asian sport car-Switch is on B pillar (that's where the door opens from) Most American sedans-Switch is on A pillar(that is where the door hinges are), Some others have the switch on the inside of the door attached to the latch claw, An example of this is late model ford. EITHER WAY YOUR PROBLEM IS IN THE SWITCH. Good luck, Jamison.
Is this by chance one of the rear doors? If so, make sure that the child safety switch has not been switched on. It's located near the door latch. Door has to be open to see it.
