If the car is in good condition yes.
Yes, it is a zero tolerence engine.
Yes, if the timing belt breaks on a 2008 Hyundai Accent, it can cause significant engine damage. This model has an interference engine design, meaning that when the timing belt fails, the pistons can collide with the valves, leading to bent valves, damaged pistons, and potentially catastrophic engine failure. It is crucial to replace the timing belt at the manufacturer's recommended intervals to prevent such issues.
Every 60K miles. Warning: This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks you will have serious engine damage.
Must be replaced every 60,000 miles. Warning: This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks you will have internal engine damage.
The Hyundai Excel, produced primarily in the 1990s, typically features an interference engine design, which means that if the timing belt fails, it could cause severe damage to the engine components. In contrast, a free-spinning engine (or non-interference engine) allows the pistons to move without colliding with open valves if the timing belt breaks. Therefore, the Hyundai Excel is not considered a free-spinning engine.
Must be replaced every 60,000 miles. WARNING: This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks serious engine damage will occur.
It does not have a belt, it has a chain.
Maybe...?
The timing belt must be changed every 96,560 kilometers or 60,000 miles. Warning: This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks you will have serious internal engine damage.
hi man,im in the same boat too. anyways, Hyundai say that they recommend the timing belt changed at 60,000and 90,000,and 120,000miles. ive read alot of stories about this and i guess it depends what year you have.2003-2007. these people really never changed it at 60,000 and it still on there.if it breaks it will destroy you engine. these cars come with a type of engine called "a interferance engine which means that if the timing belt breaks, it will cause extreme damage to the engine. if your at 60,000 miles right now, i would get it changed because Hyundai wouldn't recommend it for no reason.
A new belt. It must be replaced every 60,000 miles. Warning: This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks you will have internal engine damage.
The 2.0 has a timing belt.
