Change your alternator
To remove the alternator from a 1994 Mazda MX-6, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical short. Next, remove the drive belt by loosening the tensioner. Disconnect the electrical connections from the alternator, then unbolt it from its mounting bracket. Finally, carefully lift the alternator out of the engine compartment.

Hi there , I have just changed the pressure sensor switch on my MX6 , it is located fairly centrally on the engine facing the radiator. There is a small wire that is routed across the alternator so it can be found by tracing that .I had to change the alternator and broke this by accident , you might have to remove the alternator to get to it first depending on the size of your hands and arms ,Mazda has the replacement parts and can be bought for a few pounds .Hope its helpful !!
plenty of things could be a starter, alternator, ignition switch, bad spark...
its supposed to theres nothing wrong with it
It either works or it doesnt
Vacuum leak, probably at the vacuum source on the engine.
You don't need to remove the bolt. The mounting bracket is slotted so that you only need to withdraw the bolt a small way and then pull the alternator and the bolt will come out through the slot.
