In regards to your question, the clutch assembly should be the same, the only difference mite be the conector for the clutch line which you can change out with one from an explorer then bolt it in and have fun
changing clutch in 1994 ford ranger ===================================================================== If it is like the ( 1996 ) Ford Ranger The clutch fluid reservoir is in the engine compartment , it is between the Power Distribution Box and the drivers side fender , It takes DOT 3 brake fluid
The hydraulic clutch slave cylinder is inside the manual transmission bellhousing
There is no clutch cable its hydrolic.
how do you change tail light cover on a 1994 ford ranger
theres two bolts that hold it to the fire wall then disconnect the hoses and unclip the rod from the clutch petal then put your new one in in reverse order
im sure this is on the clutch pedal itself.
it is a manual 5 speed tranny.
I had this problem before on a ranger you have to pull the dash board out and it will be right there.
needs new clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing
First, you try bleeding the clutch. You open up the valve, have a friend pump on the clutch pedal, and tighten it back up when the clutch pedal is depressed. Repeat until the clutch feels normal. If this doesn't take care of it, there is no fixing the clutch - the clutch disc and pressure plate will have to be replaced.
I have owned a 94 ranger for about 5 years now. Hence I have dealt with the clutch before. It is a hydraulic clutch and therefore self adjusts. You are unable to change the rate at which it adjusts. I do recommend looking under the hood back on the fire wall to the right there is a little cup with a black top. I would top that off with fluid if you are having any problems they should be solved by making sure it is at level. I believe that the type of fluid needed is on the top.
