You have to remove the rear deck cover. Drop both back seat backs to access the little plastic push rivets, remove with a flat head screw driver and needle nose pliars careful not to cut the buttom, just ease them out by wiggling back and forth. I cant remember if you have to pull the plastic trim off from either side of the back deck, this may be required to pull the deck out. You should be able to access the 3rd brake light assembly once the rear deck cover is removed. Now is also a good time to check the condition of your rear 6.75" speakers. If they look sun faded or otherwise not very healthy, stop by wal-mart or eBay to get the appropriate size 6.75" speaker, or 6.5" speaker with mounting plate to fit the 6.75" screw holes.
