It's pretty easy. Pull them away from the windshield so they are standing up straight out. grab them in the middle and pull upwards and they should unclip.
Put your new wipers on the clip and push down and they should lock into place.
Most or all Mazda 3's have the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.

Fuse number 53 (rear wiper) and 68 (front wipers)

I recently bought some wipers at Autozone. The counterperson put them on for me. They will do the same at Walmart. The installation looked fairly simple.
To access the fuse for the front wipers on a 2008 Mazda 3, first, locate the fuse box, which is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side or under the hood. Open the fuse box cover and refer to the diagram on the inside of the cover to identify the specific fuse for the front wipers. Use a fuse puller or a pair of needle-nose pliers to carefully remove the fuse, and check if it is blown. If it is, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
1990-2005 Mazda Miatas use 18" wiper blades on both the driver and passenger side wipers.
