Although I am not a car expert, I do own a '93 Corolla. From what I have seen on the transmission, if your Transmission Fluid is low you can check with the orange test stick located in the front right of the engine. If you need to add fluid you can simply pour the desired amount through the hole used to check the fluid level. If you want to flush it or anything else you would have to drain it some other way. Hope this little bit of backyard garage knowledge helps you.
Usually you drain and replace it...;)
