I have the same problem with my '05 Highlander with only 42,000 miles on it. The rear driver-sdie window went down and won't come up. I've looked up the forums online and was able to disassemble the interior door shell. what i saw was odd, the brackets had come off from the window and the window is now sitting at the bottom of the door. won't go up. i will hv to continue searching but thought of letting you know that this is not a easy fix. something wrong with toyotas.
Please narrow it down as to what specs you wish.... there are pages of them.
On my 2008 Highlander, I started the engine and set the odometer to trip A. Shut off engine and restart while holding down the odometer button.
All the models that are double cab have a roll down back window.
Window regulator and motor
You have to reset the computer
The best way to put down back window in a Toyota 4Runner is to put it down with the key fob. However, if that does not work, you can utilize the switch on the dash.
Sounds like window regulator. They are expensive. I would check first to make sure window is in the proper regulator slot.
Window regulator is probably shot are they power or manual windows
On the 2006 Toyota Highlander, the spare tire is located underneath the rear of the vehicle. It is accessible through a compartment in the rear cargo area, where you'll find a winch system to lower the tire. To retrieve it, you'll need to use the provided tools to lower the spare down from its mounted position.
If by " rolls down all by itself" you mean that it slowly slides down while traveling in the car, then my advice would be to take the door panel off and check to see if the window came off the the lower clips. If every thing looks sound and or the window is electronicly rolling itself down I don't know what to tell you.
Parking pawl in transmission broken?
A power window that does not "roll down" in a 1999 Toyota RAV4 is most likely the result of a faulty regulator. The regulator can be replaced by removing the door panel.
