Not sure when you wrote this but since there are no answers, I will answer this. The problem is most likely has a broken cable which comes out of the window motor and attaches to the rail the glass sits in or a broken pulley wheel. As the motor winds uo, the cable reels in and raises the window. If the cable breaks or comes out of the pulley wheel, it will let the glass fall. I am in the middle of changing one out right now. Seems to be a pretty easy fix if you can find parts. I think if I did another one, I could do it in about 30 minutes or less now that I know how everything comes apart. Good Luck... Ray
