To remove the corner light on a 1998 Toyota Hiace, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the keys are removed. Gently pry off the plastic cover or trim surrounding the corner light, if applicable. Then, unscrew or unclip the corner light assembly from its mounting. Finally, disconnect the electrical connector and carefully pull the light out to complete the removal.
The easiest way to reset the timing belt light, on your 1999 Toyota, is to remove the dashboard light. Keep the fuse out for 10 seconds and replace it to that slot.
Also some Vans have a small rubber Grommet on the clear plastic speedo (front). You pick it out and poke a small wire into the hole to reset.
If you have already replaced the belt and the light is still on you will need to remove the lower and upper dash panels and then remove the instrument cluster which holds your speedometer and other devices. The reset button for the timing belt light is behind the cluster.

To reset the timing belt light on a 1998 Toyota Hiace van, first, turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Then, locate the trip meter reset button on the dashboard. Press and hold the button while turning the ignition off and then back to the "ON" position. Continue holding the button until the timing belt light goes off, indicating that it has been reset.
To turn off the spanner light on a Toyota Hiace, you typically need to reset the maintenance light using the vehicle's odometer. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine, then press the trip meter button until the odometer displays "000000." Turn the ignition off, then back on, and the spanner light should be reset. If the light persists, it may indicate an actual maintenance issue that needs attention.
