To determine if the EGR valve or sensor on your 1993 Toyota T-100 is faulty, look for symptoms like rough idling, decreased engine performance, or increased emissions. You can also perform a visual inspection for carbon buildup or leaks around the EGR valve. Testing the sensor with a multimeter for proper voltage readings when the engine is running can help confirm its condition. Additionally, an error code related to the EGR system from an OBD-I scanner can indicate a malfunction.
i have a 1999 Toyota seinna v6 and i will know where can i find the vehicle speed sensor.
how do you check to know whether your coolant fan motor needs replacing in my 1993 toyota camry v6?
Open the hood
If you know where the air control valve its right nexts too it ,theres a connector next to it on the right of it ,its kind of hidden.mines a red connector. If you don't know where the air vl control valve is its on the left side of the engine under the intake manifold
PRETTY SURE OIL SENSOR
i don't know the answer
I don't know but I would like to know as well.
There are many sensors in that vehicle. Need to know which one you are looking for.
the black wires are for the heater circuit, the blue and white are the sensor wires. the universal sensor probably wont work though, its best to bite the bullet and get the correct one from toyota.
I dont know what other egr valve will work, but I know they can be cleaned out and put back on the car. I have a 96 Paseo, and I soaked mine in carb cleaner and was able to get all the carbon out and put it back on the car and works fine.
Engine check light comes on, and you have the codes read.
An EGR valve sensor should be available at any dealership parts department, and almost any auto parts supply store.
