The Honda Accord remote key does have a battery.
The keyless entry module on a1998 Honda Accord is located underneath the dashboard. It is housed on the driver-side the of dash close to the main relay.
Replaced the battery in the remote.
How do you open your 2006 honda accord trunk when the emergency lock will not work and the remote doesn't open it?
To program a 2005 Honda Element keyless remote, begin by sitting in the driver's seat and closing all doors. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (not starting the engine) and back to "Off" five times within 10 seconds. Then, press the "Lock" button on the remote; the doors should lock and unlock to indicate successful programming. Repeat this step for any additional remotes, and finish by turning the ignition back to "On."
Its the same as honda civics. It a series of turning the ignition key off and on while pushing button on the remote. Im sure you can look that up as it's more common
