After unbolting everything and trying to lower it away from the bell housing, you find there is not enough clearance at the crossmember. You must grind/cut away metal from under the transmission to allow it to clear the crossmember.

Or what I did: remove the crossmember, put it back later. Mine just bolted onto the frame rails.
