If it is the same as the 2000 Daewoo Lanos, it will be located inside the car on the passenger side. You will have to remove most of the lower dash (black plastic) to find it, there are about 30 (7 mm) screws that need to get removed and the fan will have to come out to access the expansion valve block. The expansion valve itself is held in place with (2) 8mm bolts.

I have A 99 daewoo Lanos with the same problem. I took apart my dash to find that the control cable has a broken shield over it. to easly check this your self just above the gas peddle and to the right there is your heater box on the side ov it is a control lever for diferant settings see if you can move it. you need a scantool that has a daewoo compatible cartridge, so you can access the srs computer, a regular scantool like the ones at advance wont do it. you need a scantool that has a daewoo compatible cartridge, so you can access the srs computer, a regular scantool like the ones at advance wont do it.

Remove the dash!
To take apart the dash on a 1998 Dodge Ram, you need to first remove the bezel. From there, you remove the radio. Then the screws will come undone from the sides and under the dash. Then it just pops off.
No. just remove the plastic piece around the radio. It pops off.
in the heater box behind the dash on the passenger side of the truck you have to remove the dash to get to it
