To remove the dashboard on a 1993 Mazda MX-6 for gauge bulb replacement, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Remove the screws securing the dashboard trim and carefully pry off the trim pieces, including the instrument cluster cover. Next, unscrew the bolts holding the dashboard in place, then gently pull it away from the mounting points to access the gauge bulbs. Replace the bulbs, reassemble the dashboard in reverse order, and reconnect the battery.
