According to the owner's manual, you pry it off by prying at the front of the cover. Do it carefully

Open the trunk twist the knob on the plastic cover and remove the cover. Twist the bulb socket out of the assembly, twist the bulb out and replace with the new, and reverse the process.
To replace the dashboard light on a 1989 Honda Prelude, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the dashboard cover by unscrewing any screws and gently prying it off. Locate the burnt-out bulb socket, twist it counterclockwise to remove it, and replace the old bulb with a new one. Finally, reassemble the dashboard cover and reconnect the battery.
A low oil level can cause the oil light to blink on a 1995 Honda Prelude. A faulty sensor can also cause this.

When you open the hood, there should be a panel behind/above the light socket, remove that, unplug the light and check the size of the light find the same size and replace it.

There could be a lot of causes to this light being on.......... Have a technician hook it up to an ABS computer.
The sliding door track cover is held on by two screws. To remove the sliding door track cover you must first open the door and look where the cover is located. You will see a screw, unscrew the cover at this location. The other screw is located behind the rear tail light cover/assembly. Remove the rear light by popping out two tabs/covers and unscrew light assembly. Once you remove the rear light you will see the other screw for the door cover. Remove screw. The track cover will now be able to be removed and replaced/repaired. Screw back in the same way.
