First check for a blown fuse, which is easily replaced. Unfortunately, the clocks on the earler CR-V's are not repairable. If it is not simply the fuse, it is quite likely that the entire clock will have to be replaced due to the fact that the clock numerals consists of LCD's (liquid crystals) and when they go bad the entire clock must be replaced as a unit.
In my 2001 CRV, the clock and radio fuse are the same. Funny, mine keeps blowing though... I keep taking it back to the dealer. They are trying to figure out why.

If the clock is not working, it is most likely an internal problem with the clock itself. Check out the below website:
Check for voltage and continuityFollowing are the steps I did to prove the clock was not working anymore!I open the Dashboard and check the voltage getting to the clock. The voltage was OK.Then I unscrewed the 2 clock screws then I check for continuity! They were no continuity, proven the clock was not working anymore. This is a classic case of internal clock failure. We offer a reasonable repair service at www.autoclockrepair.com
