The Daewoo Matiz has a fuel tank capacity of approximately 40 liters. This compact car is designed for efficient urban driving, making its fuel capacity suitable for its size and intended use.
To replace a Daewoo Matiz fuel tank, first, ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and disconnect the battery. Drain the fuel tank and remove any components obstructing access, such as the rear seats and protective covers. Detach the fuel lines, electrical connections, and mounting straps, then carefully lower and remove the old tank. Install the new tank by reversing the disassembly steps and ensuring all connections are secure before reconnecting the battery and testing for leaks.
The Daewoo Matiz is generally compatible with several fuel pumps, including those from brands like Aisin, Delphi, and Bosch. Specific models may vary depending on the engine type and production year, so it’s important to verify compatibility based on the vehicle's specifications. For the best results, consult the vehicle’s manual or a trusted auto parts supplier for the exact fuel pump model that fits your Daewoo Matiz.
Most models of Daewoo Matiz hold 35 liters or 9 gallons of fuel. On average the Daewoo Matiz gets 33-40 miles per gallon. On a full tank of 9 gallons the car would get between 297 miles and 360 miles.
The fuel filter on a Daewoo Matiz is typically located underneath the vehicle, along the fuel line between the fuel tank and the engine. It is often mounted on the chassis or near the fuel pump. To access it, you may need to lift the car and ensure safety precautions are in place. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific guidance on location and replacement.

In a Daewoo Matiz, the fuel indicator is typically located on the instrument cluster, which is directly in front of the driver. It is represented by a fuel gauge that displays the level of fuel in the tank, often marked with a full and empty icon. The gauge may also include a warning light that illuminates when the fuel level is low.

On a Daewoo Matiz, the fuel pipes connect to the fuel tank at designated ports, typically located on the top or side of the tank. The fuel supply line feeds fuel from the tank to the engine, while the return line sends unused fuel back to the tank. It's important to ensure that the connections are secure and that any seals are intact to prevent leaks. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions and diagrams related to fuel line installation.
