i have owned a matiz 800 cc for a few months , i get around 40 mpg in buzy town traffic and 55 - 60 on long runs i love my matiz it seems to run forever on £10 of petrol
The fuel filter on a Daewoo Matiz is typically located underneath the vehicle, along the fuel line between the fuel tank and the engine. It is often mounted on the chassis or near the fuel pump. To access it, you may need to lift the car and ensure safety precautions are in place. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific guidance on location and replacement.
i had the very same problem on my 1999 matiz,it was a broken wire on the fuel injector.(i'd changed the distributor cap, fuel filter, plugs etc before finding out it was this)hope this helps.
I haven't found a way..
Go to someone who has a diagnostic meter , they will be able to tell you what is causing the problem, it is usually a sensor.
depending on what your driving one eighth of a tank is left in the tank when your indicator light comes on
The Daewoo Matiz is generally compatible with several fuel pumps, including those from brands like Aisin, Delphi, and Bosch. Specific models may vary depending on the engine type and production year, so it’s important to verify compatibility based on the vehicle's specifications. For the best results, consult the vehicle’s manual or a trusted auto parts supplier for the exact fuel pump model that fits your Daewoo Matiz.
In your dash instrument panel. If you are talking about the fuel level sensor, which tells your indicator what to display it is in the tank with the fuel pump.
it is located on the fuel gage
pulll the fule indicator straight up and out. remove the wires and reverse this procedure when installing the new indicator.
