To change the brakes on a Mazda 3 shouldn't be rocket science. However it took me a lil while to figure it out. It's almost the same as changing regular caliper brakes except instead of using a C-clamp or similar object to compress the piston...use a pair of needlenose pliers and turn the tip of the piston in a clockwise rotation to compress it. A clamp will not work. aside from that everything should be pretty simple.
Hope this helps
make sure to apply pressure while turning

No, a Mazda Speed 3 rear bumper does not fit on a 2004 Mazda 6. The two vehicles have different dimensions and body styles, making their bumpers incompatible. If you're looking to replace or upgrade the rear bumper on a Mazda 6, it's best to use parts specifically designed for that model.
your owners manual has explicit instructions. google the manual if you lost yours
Pads about 30.00, Rotors anywhere from 85.00-125 ea. turn rotors-40.00 (approx) + labor.
The timing chain has no set date or mileage for replacment. It will normally last the life of the engine.
Mazda 3 exists. Mazda 4 doesn't. Did you mean Mazda 5? The difference between the Mazda 3 and the Mazda 4 is that the Mazda 3 is a compact car manufactered by Mazda. It was introduced in 2004. The biggest difference between the two, is that the Mazda 4, doesn't exist.
One can purchase a 2004 Mazda 3 by going to their local Mazda dealer or checking in their local classified ads. One can also check online on sites such as Craigslist.
I have a 2004 Mazda 3 Maxx, and i get it serviced every 10,000 to 15,000kms, and then the 100,000kms service.
Replacing the brakes.....if you mean just pads than you could have a "glaze" on your rotors, this can be easily fixed by removing them and taking them to your local autoparts store or mechanical shop to have them turned, or if they are no longer within the specs replace them. Also check to make sure any shims you may have removed are firmly where they need to be and not runnbing the rotor.
