starter located on rh side of engine as you are sitting in the driver seat, solenoid is smaller cylindrical metal and attached to starter.
Make sure the driver's side door is unlocked otherwise fuel door will be locked automatically. If unlocked then there is a problem with the fuel door switch.
take off door arm rest then remove lock button, pop off inside door handle retainer. slide flat head screw driver uder door panel cover and pop off connectors. Fun begins when you have removed old handle and aligning new handle with connectors inside door panel. Just take a bit of finese and then it is completed. took about 15-20 minutes at the most. Good luck and have fun I know I did.
I know on a 1997 it is located behind the kick panel on the driver's side (there is a little grill in front of it). You can try blowing it off with a can of "Dust-It" through the grill.

According to a list I have: All models of Nissan locate their diagnostic connectors under the dash between the seering collumn and the drivers side door. However accuracy is unverified on this list. it is Front seating area, driver side, driver side of steering column, under dash, mounted above fuse panel
On a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder, the fuel gauge fuse is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, remove the cover of the fuse box and look for the fuse labeled "METER" or "GAUGE." If you need to replace it, ensure the vehicle is turned off and use a fuse puller for safety. Always consult the owner's manual for specific details and fuse ratings.
In a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder, the key code can typically be found on a label inside the vehicle. Check the driver's side door jamb or the glove compartment for a sticker that might have the key code printed on it. If the code is not there, you may need to contact a Nissan dealership with your vehicle's VIN for assistance in retrieving the key code.
