You have to remove the console cover. This starts with two screws in the console storage tray.
Your owner's manual shows how to change these bulbs on the Outback wagon and sedan. If you do not have a manual, it is available here in electronic format.
you can have the head lites adjusted correctly and/or replace the bulbs with brighter aftermarket hallogen ones.(sylvania has briter replacements available).
it will either be the bulbs them selves or sheck the fuses
To replace the side marker bulbs on a 2002 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, first, locate the side marker light assembly on the front fender. Gently pull the assembly out by pressing the retaining tab and disconnect the electrical connector. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it, then replace the old bulb with a new one. Reassemble by reversing the steps, ensuring everything is securely in place.

As you know, all cars use many light bulbs. There are dozens of different bulbs. You will need to specify which bulb. BTW, this information is in your owners manual.
