To reprogram the alarm on a 1998 Mazda 626 ES without the original remote, you can try disconnecting the car battery for about 15 minutes to reset the alarm system. After reconnecting the battery, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. This may allow you to reset the alarm and potentially program a new remote if you acquire one that is compatible. If these steps don't work, consulting a professional locksmith or automotive technician may be necessary for further assistance.

One reason that your remote key will not unlock your Mazda 6 is that a fuse is blown. You may need to replace the batteries in the remote or reprogram the remote. A bad body control module is another reason the remote will not unlock the doors.
In Canada traction control was optional on the 929.

It depends on what model of Mazda you have. My 2000 Mazda millenia doesn't. It does have reverse teeth though. I would have to go to a dealer to get another one made for it.
