To reset the airbag light on a 2003 Honda Civic, first, ensure that the vehicle's ignition is turned off. Next, locate the OBD-II port under the dashboard and connect an OBD-II scanner that can read airbag codes. After retrieving any stored error codes, clear them using the scanner. Finally, turn the ignition back on to see if the airbag light has reset; if the light remains on, there may be a persistent issue that requires further diagnosis.
The Honda Civic 2003 actually(unlike popular thought) does indeed have a reset. Place your key in the ignition and hold down the toggle switch before turning your vehicle to the 'ON' position (without the motor running). Turn the key to the 'ON' position and continue holding down the toggle switch for about 10 seconds. This should reset your airbag light!
It will be reset by the professional that repairs it.
It must be reset by a Honda Dealer. The light is on because there is a problem with the system. I am sure you do not want the airbag to not function as it should or prematurely deploy.

The airbag (SRS) light is on because there is a problem with the system. Due to the fact that working on this system can be hazardous I recommend you have it repaired by a professional. He will reset the light once the system is repaired.
