Bring the vehicle to your local Acura Dealership where they have the equipment and special tools necessary to make sure those safety systems are working properly. Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem and/or have codes cleared
the easiest way to do this is by disconnecting the battery for about 3 minutes and connect it back. Make sure you have the radio code before doing this because after the radio resets it will ask for the code. This method will also reset the GPS in the car and the GPS will also ask for the code to turn on.
To reset the radio code for a 2005 Acura TL, you typically need to retrieve the code from your owner’s manual or contact a dealership with your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). If you have the code, turn on the ignition, then the radio, and enter the code using the preset buttons. If you don't have the code, you can also check the glove compartment or trunk for a card with the code, or call an Acura dealer for assistance.
