Go to your local public library and check out a repair manual (Chilton or Haynes) for your vehicle. Chapter six will give you detailed instructions and procedures for manually retrieving the trouble codes - also, what each trouble code means and how to troube-shoot.
Left hand side of the block towards the back, just follow the hoses off the carb.
I have a 88 B2200 and i did a 318 V8 swap. Wasnt hard. Added coils to front. Welded in the mounts and changed nothing else. Fast but managable.
I believe that it is right on top of the valve cover, a (little short 90 degree hose) goes directly to the air cleaner. It comes out forward of the air cleaner.
To ensure the cam pulley is correctly installed on a Mazda 88 B2200, align the pulley’s timing mark with the corresponding mark on the cylinder head or timing cover at top dead center (TDC) of the compression stroke for cylinder one. Additionally, verify that the timing belt is properly tensioned and that the belt teeth fit snugly in the pulley grooves. Finally, rotate the engine manually to confirm that there are no obstructions and that everything operates smoothly without any binding.
The exhaust manifold and turbo from the 88-92 Mazda 626, MX-6, and Ford Probe turbo models will bolt onto the 86-93 B2000 and B2200. See the attached link for additional information.

Not knowing what the following codes are will not allow someone to know which indicate an Oldsmobile 88. Information should be provided as to what the codes are.
On the 88, remove the glove box by removing all the screws you see when you open the glove box door. You will see a 4 wire connector off to the right. It is plugged into the resistor. This is a common failure when any of the lower speeds of the blower motor fan don't work (high speed is not affected by the resistor).
It should work as the Tracer is just a rebadged Mazda 323. A close look at them should let you know, especially if the wiring is the same.

To bleed the master cylinder on a 1988 Mazda B2200, first, remove the master cylinder reservoir cap and ensure it's filled with brake fluid. Then, use a brake bleeder tool or a helper to pump the brake pedal several times and hold it down. While the pedal is held, open the bleeder valve on the cylinder to allow air and fluid to escape, then close the valve before releasing the pedal. Repeat this process until no more air bubbles are visible in the fluid, ensuring the reservoir remains filled throughout.
No. 86-88 are the same. 89-91 are the same.
