About $450-600 only for struts maybe even more plus labor and tax.
Should be four.
Varies, a couple of weeks should be enough.
Toyota recommends replacing the belt every 90,000 miles.
I dont think that a 2001 Solara has a carburetor. They stopped using them years ago - your car should have a fuel-injection unit.
If the amp is in the trunk.Just ground it to any part of the metal body.
If it's possible to do so the information should be in your owners manual.
As with most mechanical items the kind of care you give it has a huge effect on longevity. In the case of any car, you could completely trash it within weeks of leaving the dealer's lot or it could be running half a million miles later. The Solara should easily last 250 thousand miles and many years if the owner follows the maintenance schedule. My '04 Solara is coming up on 90 thousand miles and has been flawless. The cam timing belt, water pump and accessory drive belt will be replaced soon and it should be good to go for another 90 thousand. Cheers
In upstate NY it's about $500-600.
What would be the recommended miles to change out the timing belt on my 2001 Solara 4cyl. with 77,000 miles on it. Would 90K be a number close to factory recommendations?
Looking under the hood you should find the brake fluid to be in the top right corner.
no
You have to remove the transmission pan. Although it is only a screen and not so much a filter it should not ever have to be replaced unless the transmission has failed completely.
